Vostell was a pioneer of video art, the Fluxus movement and installation. This flyer was produced during a period of political turbulence in Cologne much of it concerning traffic and road schemes. Vostell typically responded with an imaginative scheme centred on the cathedral, an idea he would represent in several mediums.
